Max Power, a UK car magazine rated the Kumho high performance (not the race tire) as exceptional value for money. They were said to have acceptable traction in the dry and wet -7/10 (although less than the Yokohamas) but for the price, they are unbeatable. Overall quality is good.
I don't have any personal experience with Kumho tires but my mechanic is using them and he recommends them to his customers. I may try it next time.
