Just because Acura put V rated tires on the car doesn't mean the car requires V rated tires,
especially crappy ones that can offer less traction, steering response, braking abilities,
wet traction, etc. than better H rated tires (like maybe the Yokohama A032R's which offer
more traction, better steering response, better everything except rain traction than ANY
street tire AND can be had in H rated form .... ). Our Millenia has V rated tires on them
because we got the Premium package which includes alloy rims and V rated tires, but the
car has the base 2.5L V6. There are no other upgrades to the suspension, from the base
Millenia, just the V rated tires and alloy rims. I agree with you Steel when you say "Tis
is a choice we make when we have to pick between cheaper tires and better tires." I'd rather
have a higher quality H rated tire that offers more traction, steering response, and braking
abilities than a lower quality V rated tire .... just like I'd take an H rated P6000 3-season
tire over the OEM V rated all-season tire ... and for less money at that.
