This arguement has gotten out of hand.
The need for safety is always there. I
don't like wearing seat belts but if it
saves lives then I will buckle up. One
last word on this. Cosider the type of
car you drive and the type of driver you
are and make your tire decision based on that.
If you drive an Acura at 100mph+ even once, then
spend the money on the best rubber you can buy.
If you never drive above 55 then look for a bargain.
If you drive a high performance vehicle then buy V or Z
tires and if you drive on the fast side then buy the
best in a V or Z. If you are cheap with tires and drive
a cheap car (under 16000. when new) then DO NOT DRIVE at
high speeds and endanger everybody else on the road.
Simple as that, this is not rocket science.
