offsets

I am trying to find out what the stock offsets are for the wheels I have on my 96 Chevy
S10 4 x 4. I am planning to put 255 / 50 / 17 tires on the truck with 17" wheels. I want
wheels with the same if not a cloe offset so the tires don't stick out pass the fender flare.
