My experience with MX4's are as follows:
Good treadwear = 40k plus on these tires (175/70/13)
Wet Performance = So/so (I live in Seattle)
Adequate Dry Handling = No slip, no squeal even on hard cornering
If you had a newer Corolla (95 and up) you may have had goodyear invicta on there as some have had.
Have no other experience with th Pirellis or Contis (although I prefer the Pirellis over Conti due to reputation).
