Michelin LTX m/s or Goodyear Eagle LS

I have a Passport EX 2WD which I drive 99% of the time on the roads
of San Jose, Ca. I don't drive off road and go in the snow
only twice per year. I need quiet, good handling tires not traction in snow or mud.
I am thinking about the Goodyear Eagle LS because it is
more of a road tire. Comments?
