I am looking to buy new tires for my Mustang, and I have run into a slight dillema. Last year I replaced the stock Goodyear VR 45's with Firestone Firehawk SZ's. These tires were excellent, and in my opinion, much better than the original tires. The problem I have is that I only got about 25,000 miles out of these, and, with a price tag of about $215.00 each, this is not acceptable. I have been looking at one tire in particular...the Falken ZE-502 Ziex.
Does anyone know anything about these tires? The are rated at 300 A A. Do they hold up? Do they grip? How do they compare with the other tires made by their parent company, Dunlop? If anyone has tried these tires, please let me know.
