Can't tell you much about the BFG's except the radial T/A's are pretty cheap and thed to seem to wear fast (but the application I have seen them on has 425 HP, and that might be part of it!) Eagle GT II are okay tires, moderate to good treadlife (Goodyear rates them at 420 but I think they are about a 40,000 mile tire...mine were 225/50/16) however, they are only H speed rated, so you are NOT going to be getting much help with the handling of that solid rear axle, and H is a lower speed rating than your car's top speed. I know you are looking to keep your price down, but I would try to find at least a V rated tire for your car unless you drive it like a grandma...so that's what I can tell you about the GTII
Good luck!
