If the tires 175/70 R13 are recommended for that car
then I don't see any reason why you couldn't go up to a
185/70 R13 size. You shouldn't have any problems. I have
gone up a size several times and have driven the tires until
they wore out without any problems. I had 165's and went
to 185's on aluminum 15" wheels with no problem.
