I guess this is a personal choice...in the end, it's money versus a bit of performance. What it comes down to is that you might lose a bot of performance due to the slight loss of width, and you also will have a speedo that will be slightly off, but by a few mph max at highway speeds. Other than that, if you can get those 245's for that price, go for it! Best case scenario...they handle great and everything is boo-ti-full...worse case scenario...well, unless for some reason their tread has turned to rock, or you are a high performance kinda guy...you could always even sell them and probably make $100-200 off them if they are new now...so it's pretty much a no lose from this view
