I don't know if this would help but many years ago on my C2, I mounted an undersized tires and they worked just fine. 9 years ago I mounted an oversized tire on my C4, Michelin P315's and they would always rub on my steering gear because the tires were too big and I had to replace them quickly. I think you should start by checking with the manufacturer or try a tire store that carries tires and wheels for high performance cars.A lot will depend on how easily they go onto your wheels. If you have to struggle to mount the tire then forget them . Recommended equipment will always give you the best performance.
