People still believe that the speed rating also confers some handling magic. Nothing could be further from the truth. Speed ratings are a measure of a tire's ability to dissipate heat at high speed. Nothing more. It is entirely possible for a lower rated tire to handle better than a higher speed one. The guy who posted about the X-one was right. It is a better tire than the older MXV4. For US driving conditions go with the T rated tire
