I have gone through 2 sets of Falken FKO-6U tires, not because they are inferior tires, but because I drive fast. They handle great, and I have a Honda Civic EX Coupe, no modifications. They handle great in the rain, fantastice around corners, and they are not noisy. I don't know if you already purchased a set for your brother, but I paid about $40 per tire, a great deal with better wear than a comparable brand at that price. I couldn't find tires for $60 that could handle as nicely. Not even the much acclaimed Toyo tires, which wear out faster, were as good a deal. If you are looking for ultra-high performance, you may try something else, but as for me and my car: No better deal has been found.
