I have a v6 and I put some 245-50-16s on. You should consider putting the wider tire on. The performance will be better. And if you have stock 16s, I gather that you have a GT. The performance will be great! Get a small sidewall to make the tire well look smaller. Such as a 245-45 or 245-50.
