A friend of mine has a dune buggy with 29"x12" wide fork lift tires on the rear. With it he goes places with only 2 wheel drive where I have dificulity going in both my '85 Toyota 4WD pickup and my '47 Willy's CJ2A Jeep. The tires have a very deep "V" pattern tread.
Reciently I acquired a '85 Ford Ranger for use at my gold mining operation. Because the access road is 1 mile of 32 degree incline over areas of rock, gravel, mud and marsh, so far the only vehicle that can make the treck is my 4WD FourTrax 300. I'm pretty certain that if
I put those fork lift tires on all 4, the Ranger would make the treck too. But I can't find anywhere that they sell them. I believe they are made by Goodyear. Has anyone ever tried these tire and/or know where to buy them.
