Tire and Wheel Upgrade

I recently purchased a Chrysler 300M equipped with the handling package (225/60-16 Michelin XGTV4). Thinking about upgrading to 18" wheels and Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tires size 245/45-18, for enhanced appearance and handling. Is this a good choice? Is plus 2, too agressive? Would quality of ride deteriorate too much?
