Noisy Goodrich T/A VR4s???

Just bought a 94 Prelude that has a set of Goodrich T/A VR4s installed. The tires seem very noisy at all speeds above 20 mph. Before I spend a ton of money chasing down nonexistent mechanical problems, has anyone experienced tire noise from these tires?? Any third-generation Prelude owners with tire suggestions?? Sort of leaning toward the Michelin Pilot XGT... Thanks
