I just bought a 1993 Thunderbird LX V6, with mixed tires. I had to order
Yokohama Avid's and got the Touring version. S rated. More than I really
need in a V6 Bird. But, I love the tires. I have a curve I like to test
tires on, and in dry, stayed steady 70 mph with no squeal, had 5-10 mph
left if needed. Now, I usually try 50 mph in wet first, but we're short
of rain right now. Tire has good ride, reflects road surface to steering
and is quiet. I think wear rated at 320, and A A. Or A B. I paid $80 for
each, plus tax, etc. Looks good. Has whitewall but I'm turning those in.
