Recommendation for '96 Integra GSR tires

I have a 96 GSR and I am quickly eating up the stock tires,
especially when I do autocross with the SCCA. The Michelins
that the GSR came with are decent when the road is dry
or covered with snow, but when theres a little water on
the road, it is the most pitiful display of handling and
control I have ever seen on a car - I might as well just
aim for walls or oncoming cars!!

Can anyone that also happens to autocross race their GSR make a
suggestion as to a very good performance tire that also
does reasonably well when it is wet or icy out?
Does this exist or is this an impossible combination?
