Snow, snow and more snow!

Well, we are getting a lot of snow in the American Mid-West and Canada. Does anyone have stories re their snow tires to tell. I am really interested to hear from everyone re their comments on various snow tires. Personally I find my Goodyear Ultragrips are only average on snow but performs quite well on wet and slushy roads. On ice, forget it, I just stay home. Next time I am going for a dedicated ice compound tire.
