There is nothing quite so exciting as having a 4-wheel drive vehicle suddenly turn
sideways because you tapped the brakes without disengaging the clutch, and the manual
transmission and engine braking were enough to keep your tires from re-acquiring traction.
31 x 10.50 tires are awful in the snow. I'm driving a Ford Taurus 'Dad-Mobile' now, and
getting excellent traction performance from a set of 4 studded Cooper Weather-Masters.
Noisy buggers though.
