Best touring tire for a Subaru Impreza Coupe

I have a 1998 Subaru Impreza Coupe 2.2 automatic all wheel drive.
My foul weather driving is limited to rain and a trip to lake Tahoe once and awhile
in the winter. I'm not big on the performace aspect. What is the smoothest, quietest,
all weather tire for my car? Thanks
