I spoke to knowledgable salesman about these tires who happened to take test on a rented ice rink. He said they are quite improved as far as ice traction but only theorized that they may not be quite as good on snow due to their tread design. As far as wear he didn't think they would last any longer or shorter than the original blizzack.
