Tires for my '85 Tercel, looking in the 275/40Z range

which brands do you recomend for me? I would like to have some performance tires, good handling, etc. The tercel has a 420 Ford-Power engine in it, so need better than the bicycle tires it has now. Yes, i do have a new suspension, all i need are new tires...

Any suggestions? (Perelli, Yokohama, Dunlop, etc?)
