I had the original Michelins on my 89 Integra - first time i ever drove in
the rain I went off road. Replaced them. Got a Prelude VTEC. Had the
Michelins on them. They sucked. Now I don't know about you, but i won't
put anything on my car that says michelin anymore. It's not worth it. I
don't care how great people say they are. I had the SP4000s on the Lude and
was happy with them. A lot of my racing friends have GSRs and love the Dunlops.
I do have one friend with an MX6 LS who hates them (for rain use). I switched
over to Falken Ziexs now, and I'm pretty happy. They are great road tires -
dry and wet. They slipped a little more than I wanted for autocrossing though.
On the track they aren't too bad either. Of course I got R1s now, so I stopped
using them for track events, but the point remains the same. The Falkens are
good all-weather performance tires.
