Have had Pilot xgtv4s on maxima now for 6 months. Love em. Not a
hotrodder anymore and
have no previous experience with ultra high performance tires. So, I can't tell you
what kind of behavior they have when pushed to the max.
But they are very stable, great in wet(no hydroplaning last winter), very quick and
responsive, and surprisingly quiet.
Ride is slightly harder than previous tires, but probably due to higher pressures.
(Not objectionable given the improvement in handling).
Run 38/36. Very good wear so far. About one mm. after 6k miles.
Should get over 45k miles. Maybe more. Paid $115/tire.
Have contributed to new appreciation for my car, but transformation
to Porsche was not complete. Braking not much changed, maybe better
at higher speeds. Mileage about the same. At this point would buy them again.
