I have just installed my second set of 225-60-16 VR4's on a 93 Bonneville SSEI. They have good wet traction, and reasonable snow traction when new, of course dry handling is very good. I expect any tire would get slippery in the snow once they wear down. They are pretty bumpy in cold weather until you run them a few miles (they really flat spot when sitting for a while).

Overall I have been happy with the performance for the price - afterall I bought another set.
