Almost all tires will hydroplane more easily as tread wears...try those bloody "Aquatreads" when 1/4 worn, and they're inferior to almost anything !! You could do a lot worse than Michelins. For something as neat as an EX, you might even try MXV-4 Energy's..they're quiet, good on gas and have great traction. Doug
