I had a set of Dunlop Sp 8000 on my MR2 Turbo and really liked
its performance. I would buy it again without any doubts.
Given that no set of tires last more than 15m on my car,and I
drove more than 30m per year, I will be buying Toyo Proxes T1 to
compare. Regarding original equipmet tires,my wife 98 Tiburon Fx
came with Michelin XGT V4. At 10m I had to replace one tire
because it developed a blister on its sidewall. Less than 12m
latter the replacement tire also developed a blister.
Now Im looking to order 4 new tires(Probably Pirelly P700Z)
to replace the "original crap" which came with the car
before it developes the same problem. Not taking into account
the blister on the Michelin, there is still more than 30m
of tread available on the tire. So what works for you may not
work for someone else.
