Tires for '95 Mercury Cougar XR-7

I'm interested in finding out what the largest size tire in a "70" Series profile is; that will fit the Cougar without any scraping to the inside fenders.
I've tried a few calculations, but I don't want to buy the tires and then find out that they "don't fit" the car.
