Stacy, go for the Pirellis. They are a far superior tire to the MXV4s. ANd it's good they are cheaper.
Here in Australia, the Pirellis are slightly pricier. WHY?
The Pirelli 6000 has topped almost every performance AND wear test in several magazines here
(for performance saloon type cars). I personally use P7000s on my 205Gti but you don't need
to go to such high performance for you Legend.
I once used Michellin MXV3 on my Peugeot and grip, esp.wet grip was far inferior to my P7000 now.
I think the P6000 has slightly less perforamce than P7000 but better comfort and road noise.
TO match the p6000 for Michellin you may need to go for a higher up the range tire.
