I would suggest you check out these two tires before you make a decision.
BF Goodrich Long trail T/A and Yokohama Geolandar H/T.
Why?
Contrary to the two tires you are considering, these are brand new offerings taking advantage of the latest manufacturing techniques,computer design and compound technology.
And they are cheaper than the Michelins which are a 10 year old design by the way.
I have the same size tires you do on a four door Sidekick.
When I change ,I plan to go for Michelin XH4, a car tire, because they emphasize a smooth and quiet ride which I REALLY NEED.
I never go off road, the 4wd is for snow and ice we get here in Canada.
And I have Ice tires for winter( Dunlop Grandtreck SJ4).
