I was just browsing through the Tire Rack's tire testing section
for information on two possible tires I will buy for my car,
the P6000 Sport Veloce and AVID H4, and found something interesting.
According to their tests, it seems that the Pirelli outperformed
the Yoko in all the tests on the track (Stability, Track rating, etc.)
yet, the Yoko turned in a faster lap time. Granted these were
two different tests conducted on two different days, but the way
Tire Rack words their tests, it seems that these tests could be used to
compare with each other. I tried emailing Tire Rack about
this and got no reply. If someone has a recommendation
between the Yokohama or the Pirelli tire, I would greatly
appreciate it.
