I'm afraid theres been alot of that goin on in the industry George I'm sorry to say, Tire guides offers a book called "Who makes it and where" that tells you exactly what Manufacturers make what brands and even at which plant ! Thier website is WWW.tireguides.com/ I believe you can order the book on-line.It is reasonably priced.
