I bought D60 A2 tirest for my Mazda 626 in 1995 for the same reason, and they are better than the original Bridgestone S408 tire in the rain, but maybe not as good in the snow. I'm probably going to buy new tires again, and I'm looking for better all-season use for snow, so I might not get D60A2 again, but they are a good value.
