The Firestone SS radial is not quite on par with the B.F. Goodrich T/A radial. The Firestone has the cornering but the ride can be firm. As far as traction goes both are good. Take a look at Cooper and Dayton, these are known as cheaper tires, but Cooper is one of the most advance tire makers in North America.
