I drive a 1993 BMW 740iA and am currently using a set of worn P6000's. Handling is good, though I am unsure whether they are the cause of steering shudder when accelerating between 80-90 km/h. One of the BMW digests said that the P6000's do cause steering shudder, though it was at slightly higher speeds. The front suspension was checked and fixed recently. Also, they wear quite fast, only done 39,000km and the tread is almost gone.

I will be needing a new set of tyres, and am considering the Michelin XGT V4 (the Firestones are not available in Hong Kong) to help solve the shudder.

I know the P6000s were revised in 1995, and mine are a pre-1995 version.

Any further experiences would be appreciated.
