Hello all,

I need to buy a new set of 225/60/16 tires for my '95
Monte Carlo. I need a good all season tire that will
handle light to moderate snowfall and perform well in
the rain. I had been looking at the Bridgestone RE 930,
but they run upwards of $100+ dollars in my area.
Michelins might be an answer, but they are even more pricey!
I noticed a sale on the General XP 2000 II (buy four/get
one free at $59 a piece), but I have not been able to find
any test results (are they any good?). Now I have found a
tire that Tire Rack says will give me everything I want
without having to sacrifice such things as food and
clothing--the Sumitomo HTR4. Mighty cheap, yet still
receives praise! Can anyone back this up?

Thanks,

John
