Potenza RE930 for Contour SE?

A tire dealer wants me to install Bridgestone Potenza RE930s on my Ford Contour SE.
He claims that the RE930 is a newer technology than the RE92. I know that the
RE930s were introduced in '95, so I'm a little skeptical.

Another dealer wants me to install Dunlop D60 A2s.

Consumer Reports likes the Dunlops. Bridgestone has a better warranty.
