I bought four brand new Firestone Firehawk SZ50 tires and at least two of the tires
were defective! The dealer said the tires were backordered so far that I returned
them all. I have never seen several tires being defective before. One would wonder
about the manufacturing quality and testing of these tires. For Z rated tires, you
would think they went under some better testing. I will say that they did go
exellent in the rain though. The tires were so far out of round, they caused a
huge vibration. In addition and they had several flat spots that jerked the steering
wheel back and forth until they warmed up.
