The 235 85 16 will fit on the Tahoe with no problems. Since the tire is taller it should affect you speedometer and lower you gas mileage. The 235 85 16 would be a better tire in the rain and snow because it is narrower. As far as the load range is concerned, you can buy 245 75 16 in a ten ply "E" load range. The only problem that you might run into is that the 7 inch wide wheel on your Tahoe might be too wide. I think that the maximum recommended rim with for a 235 85 16 is 6.5 inches.
