They are completely different tires, and then one you choose should depend on the type of car you are driving. The Energy MXV4 is a performance rated (H and V) tire where as the X One is a standard "T rated". If you drive a car that requires a performance rated tire then the MXV4 is definitely the way to go. If you are driving a car the only requires a standard passenger rated tire then I would go with the X One. THat doesn't mean that you can't put a performance tire on a car that doesn't require it. The car just doesn't need it. On the other hand it is usually not recommended to use a non-performance rated tire on a car that requires it. There is a fine line in all of this, but in my opinion it is always better to match the performance rating of the tire that came as original equipment on the car.
