I am in the process of replacing the BFG Comp T/A VR-4's on my '93 Bonneville SSEI. The VR-4's have worn well, are very good in heavy water and reasonable in snow (until they get worn - last winter was dicey). The wear rate has also been good.
The question is, go with another set of the same, or replace with something different. I have been looking at the Bridgestone RE-930 (or maybe the new 910), Yokohama AVS-S4 and have read quite a bit about the Firestone SH-30.
I need some snow performance, although this area seldom gets more the 2-3" at a time. The driving is basically highway, with some city.
Thoughts folks??
