My own typo correction PLUS added question on wheels...I have responded to some questions regarding later (74 on) 911 tires, but does anyone know how big you can go on earlier generation 911s, such as 73 T?...esp w/o noticeable body modification (nothing more than inner fender lip bending at most)? Will a 195-65-15front/215-60 rear or (rare mfgr/BMW 325i tire) 225-55-15/rear combo work...or better yet the later 70s/80s 205-55-16/225-50-16 combo? Ditto question of wheels...later (but still pre 90s new-offset) Fuchs, BBS, etc. work on early 911s? If not, suggestions other than custom-make route?
