If you like Dunlop, I would buy either the SP4000, or SP8000. The UTQG systems
stands for Universal Tire Quality Grade. The first three #'s are a treadwear
rating. The higher the number the better. Generally, performance tires will
always have a low # due to the soft rubber compound (better traction). The
first letter stands for the traction rating. "A" is best. The second letter
stands for temperature. Again "A" is best. Based on the fact that you are
looking for a performance tire in a high heat climate, if you find an economical
tire with a 300AA or better, you will be fine.
