I bought my vr6 Passat with snows and had to change after much
checking Dunlops D60A2 SP8000-9000 were given good reports by
owners, however dunlop is moving out of Cadada with just a few
dealers handling them, so I tried an unknown to me Cooper Cobra's
I have been plesantly suprised by their good handling, very good
in the rain as well as smooth riding.
I cannot tell how they compare in handling to the dunlops but I can
push in the corners hard with no problem. Prices in Canadian funds
205-50-15 Dunlop D60A2 $140 SP8000 $160 Cooper Cobra's $99 UTOG wear
rating on the coopers 440 dunlops in the 200s so am hoping for longer
life,also they are rated M&S but am not counting on getting through
a Canadian winter unless El Nino stays with us.
