Car is in showroom condition - 50K miles - Had goodyear original tires car purchased 1990./
Got a flat 2day - dealer claims cant be repaired. Asked him for Michelins he insisted on bridgestone & bad mouthed Goodyear. I left the shop - phoned another dealer he quoted on 2 different Michelins from 75.00 to 142.00 although the x1 does not come in my size.
Phoned another Michelin dealer he said (well i wont repeat it) Michelin not good any more but he could give me a 205/70 r14 as x 1 not avail in 185/75 r14. Only 142 each. Last one suggested Rain force mx 4. - Sure fun buying tires!!! I need mostly city driving ; 2-3 trips a year through mountains to coast; lots of ice and snow and very cold in edmonton, and am swaayed towards xh4 - want the wuietness but safety major concern. And this buick will keep going for many more years! Thanks for your guidance. ed
