When I got back to the U.S. I immediately researched and was told the 205/65-15 is the
way to go. The 195/70's are a totally weird size that VW got when they jobbed out the
tires for the Eurovan when it appeared it wasn't going to sell well in the U.S.

Bought a set up Michelin X-Plus for about $63 ea. at Sam's Club. 7 year warranty.

The "original" Goodyears are $120. Go figure

All told, at 31K and 4 years we love ours. Had an '85 Vanagaon before.
