I've run TOYO Proxes U1s on my VW 1987 Jetta, a vehicle where momentum is everything. The U1s are VERY sensitive to tire pressures -- find the right one, and they'll stick like glue -- get it wrong, and they'll be at 80% stick or less. I can highly recommend these tires, but caution you to experiment with pressures until if feels right. These tires are not cushy, and do wear quickly (12k on last set -- down to one sixteenth), but are very good in the wet and dry.
