My Legend Coupe 6-speed came with XGTV4's, and I found a big improvement when I went to new-series MXv4's.
These MXV4's have a silica / carbon black tread compound that lowers rolling resistance about
20%, while improving wet and snow traction ! Tire life is also better, and I found noise a lot lower.
Suggest that you not change tire size...Volvo test drivers are no fools, and probably chose best compromise.
